Schedule for Swimmers going to East Coast Champs and Nationals
MPM Head Coach Retires
After a lot of thought and discussion with my family I have decided to retire from coaching to pursue other career interests and to spend more time with my family, instead of on the phone or in front of a laptop. This decision did not come easily.
I would like to wish all the best to all the swimmers I have had the opportunity to coach in their future endeavours. I will never forget all the great times and all the accomplishments that the swimmers have achieved. T he many hours behind the scenes I put into making the Mount Pearl Marlins a recognizable name regionally and nationally were well worth it. Maybe somewhere down the road I may return to coaching, in life you never know what can happen.
I would also like to thank all the coaches that have greatly helped me out in the past. Jack Best, John Peters, Charlie Thomasen, Andrew Harvey, Jean Stoyles, Paul Dawe, Stewart MacPhearson, Dion Dakins, Ginny Smith, Kevin Ross, Jamie Whynaught, Kevin Thorburn, Brent Aquino to name a few. And I can't forget the ED's of Atlantic Canada Corina Hartery, Robin Ferdinand, and Bette El-Hawary.
Sincerely
Dave
